As the threat of the undead loomed, Dr. Mindbender departed Cobra Island to expand his research. Learning of General Eisenkopf's uprising and the subsequent escape of Cobra Commander, along with his loyal Generals Tomax and Xamot, Dr. Mindbender shifted his focus to developing the ultimate soldier capable of battling and surviving the undead. With the assistance of Hotwire, the skilled Cobra B.A.T. engineer, Dr. Mindbender endeavored to create a fusion of flesh and technology that would empower Cobra Troopers to assert dominance over the world.
Unfortunately, Trapjaw's Artificial Intelligence was so advanced that the subject managed to break free and gain independence. Subsequently, it rampaged through the facility, eliminating anyone in its path, including Cobra Troopers, Lab Rats, and B.A.T.s.
The circumstances surrounding Trapjaw's discovery of Skeletor and his decision to pledge allegiance to him remain shrouded in mystery.
