In the world of animal rehabilitation and training, few were as skilled and renowned as Bradley "The Beastman" Eastland. His expertise and passion for working with animals took him all over the world, from circuses and carnivals to Hollywood film sets. Despite his solitary nature, preferring the company of animals over people, he was highly respected for his professionalism and commitment to the welfare of the animals under his care. He treated the animals under his supervision as if they were his own, consistently surpassing industry standards for animal training and welfare. In contrast to other well-known trainers, he opted to rely solely on positive reinforcement and the development of strong, trusting relationships with the animals he worked with.
Bradley led an exhilarating life, filled with adventure and compassion for animals. When not immersed in a film project or captivating audiences with a traveling circus, he dedicated his time to his expansive Montana ranch. This remarkable sanctuary played a dual role as a rehabilitation center and a captivating tourist destination. Visitors willingly paid top dollar for the opportunity to stay at the ranch and participate in caring for a diverse menagerie of creatures. Among them were majestic big cats like lions and tigers, as well as canines such as wolves and coyotes. Not to mention the enchanting presence of elephants, giraffes, and a small herd of diverse hoofed animals. Bradley's unwavering dedication ensured that most of these inhabitants were successfully rehabilitated and released back into the wild. However, for some, the injuries were too severe, or their tamed nature made it impossible for them to be returned to their natural habitat.
When the ZomPoc began, Bradley found himself at his ranch with a dedicated staff. He invited them and their families to stay on the property to protect and care for the animals. Together, they braved wave after wave of undead and fended off survivors who saw the animals as an easy meal.
Then the first of the staff went missing. Then another the following week. Then two the following week. His staff started to become wary, worried about their friends and fellow survivors. Eerily, Bradley remained oddly unfazed despite the growing concern among the remaining members of his team.
After nearly two years of solitude, Bradley found himself alone, surrounded only by the untamed wilderness and its inhabitants. Gone were the familiar features of his once clean-shaven face, now concealed beneath a thick, braided beard. His physique had transformed into that of a lean, muscular figure, mirroring the feral nature of the creatures he coexisted with.
The gates to the predator enclosures stood perpetually ajar, a tangible testament to the altered state of the world. To safeguard the survival of his animal companions, Bradley had become a proficient hunter, dispatching the infected undead who encroached upon his domain. Remarkably, he had succeeded in training the wolves to aid him in his perilous task. While the large cats required no direction, effortlessly stalking and consuming any intruders of the undead variety.
Surprisingly, Bradley hadn't used the herbivores as food for the larger predators, instead of dwindling in numbers, the gentle plant-eaters experienced a steady increase in population. Even more confounding was the overt disinterest displayed by the predatory inhabitants toward the peaceable herbivores. In fact, the predators seemed to be working to ensure the safety of the growing herd.
Skeletor found himself face to face with The Beastman as he and his enormous panther were encirlced by a pack of ferocious bloodthirsty wolves and a beastly wildman. The Beastman's piercing green eyes peered out from behind a fearsome mask, wielding a spear in one hand and a knife in the other, exuding an aura of danger that surpassed even the wild animals surrounding him. From the thick woodland, several massive lions, tigers, and cougars emerged to join the ring of beasts. Upon spotting Skeletor, The Beastman effortlessly called off his companions, commanding them without uttering a single word. They all obediently lay down in perfect unison. Even Skeletor's formidable Panthor obediently followed suit at the unspoken signal sending a chill of dread down Skeletor's spine. Recognizing The Beastman's formidable power, Skeletor wasted no time in offering him a position as a general in his quest for power. Without hesitation, The Beastman accepted the offer.
