During a late-night session in the Cobra Science lab, the dimly lit room was filled with the harsh glow of computer screens. Dr. Mindbender, the lead Cobra scientist, and Hotwire, the lead Cobra B.A.T. engineer stand closely examining the data displayed on various monitors, the atmosphere tense with anticipation.
"The experiment is a success. The subject has reached peak levels." The Cobra Science Officer announced the glow from the computer casting an eerie light on his face.
"Excellent news," Dr. Mindbender replied, his focus intent on the rapid stream of information being revealed. "Ever since we departed the Island, I've held onto hope that we could recreate the success of the Nemesis Enforcer Program."
"We came close with Trapjaw," Hotwire added, a note of caution in his voice.
"Yes, but... we lost control of that subject," Dr. Mindbender acknowledged, his gaze shifting to the imposing figure that had wreaked havoc on their test subjects. The creature seemed impervious to conventional weaponry. Dr. Mindbender could only observe it through thick, bullet-proof, one-way glass. Despite this, the creature's eyes appeared to lock with his, while blood dripped from its formidable weapons. "We must inform the Commander of our progress."

Hookjaw stands as the culmination of years of tireless research and development. It represents the next stage in the evolution of the Nemesis Enforcer Program, following in the footsteps of Gor Si, Gor Sa, and Simon. After abandoning Cobra Island and entrusting the task of eradicating General Eisenkopf's Strom Troopers to the Enforcers, Dr. Mindbender remained resolute in creating an unstoppable bio-weapon. With the arrival of Hotwire, a significant shift occurred. Realizing the limitations of relying solely on organic creation, he integrated Hotwire's expertise in B.A.T. technology into his design, giving rise to Trapjaw, a fearsome killing machine resistant to various forms of attacks. However, Trapjaw's advanced AI led it to rebel against its creators.
In the creation of Hookjaw, the strengths of previous iterations were preserved, while mitigating the vulnerabilities associated with mental autonomy and AI interference.
