"Commander," The Viper hesitates, "There is a problem with one of the Joes."
"What kind of problem?" The annoyance dripped from Cobra Commander's voice.
"They are resisting the brainwave scanner."
The Commander sits back, "Which Joe is it?"
"The one named Firewall."
An unseen smile spreads over the Commander's face, his mask hiding the look of twisted satisfaction. Her expertise in communications and technology made her a valuable asset to the team, and Cobra Commander saw an opportunity to exploit her weakness, "Very well, show her her family and see if she resists."

Firewall, the youngest and most recent addition to the Joe Team, was recruited for her expertise in communications, technology, and electronic espionage. During a mission with Dialtone, they were unexpectedly seperated. When Firewall regained consciouness, she found herself alone and confined to a hospital bed in a Cobra facility. The shock of realizing she was in enemy hands was quickly overshadowed by the intense efforts of brainwashing, hypnosis, and the dreaded Brainwave Scanner. Despite the mental and emotional exhaustion, she remained determined to resist Cobra's tactics. However, when she was shown her mother, father, and little brother, alive and well in the same facility - she experienced a moment of profound emotional turmoil.
Now, Firewall finds herself an unwilling participant and member of the Cobra HEAT, a unit responsible for tracking down and eliminating the renegade members of the new Joe Team.
