Chapter 2: Vipers' Nest

Location: South America, somewhere along the Amazon River.

Inside an earthen-covered bunker, a red light silently flashes over the control panel of a very high-tech observation post.

"Sir, I think we have something."

"What is it?"

"Well, sir, it appears the perimeter sensors have tripped."

"Which ones?"

"Well, sir. All of them."

"All of them?"

The Cobra Officer looks at the screens in front of him to ensure that what the Tele-Viper's telling him is accurate.

"Have you contacted the Island?"

"I've tried, sir. We're not getting a response."

"What about Viper 6?"

"... No response."

"Are we getting any visuals?"

"Negative, sir."

"Fuck!" He slams his fist on the control board. "Wake all the Vipers."

"Yes, sir."
