When the government took Stark into custody, a long-programmed contingency plan went into effect. Around the world, men and women unknowingly selected by Tony Stark were sent packets via the internet, which gave them very specific instructions. If followed to the letter they would be lead to Stark Armors designed specifically for them which would help them survive the coming apocalypse.

Version IV is one such armor. Heavily armed and capable of destroying small and medium hordes unaided. It is found in the open wastes of the Midwest.
Version V is another such armor. A light and incredibly fast armor outfitted with various laser weapons. It is currently seen in the northwest region of the former United States. The wearer has been known to work alongside former Joes to eliminate the undead threat.
