Sparrow is one of just two members of the current Joe Team that has prior military experience. As a Warrant Officer in the National Guard's 28th Infantry Division, with the MOS 153D, she was responsible for flying the UH-60 Black Hawk. Sparrow has served in the Sand Box on several occasions. She now serves as one of the two pilots for the Joe Team, her expertise being piloting the MH-6 Little Bird for deployment and extraction, as well as air support as the mission dictates.
