Stalker recruited Gladiator from the esteemed 75th Ranger Regiment, a unit renowned for producing some of the most skilled soldiers in the military. Both Stalker and his friend Barnes came from the same distinguished background.

Standing tall with a muscular build, he is known as the only member of the Joe Team who can claim the honor of having defeated an Iron Grenadier Heavy in brutal, hand-to-hand combat.
In a unique show of respect and tribute, Gladiator wears the armor of the Iron Grenadier he defeated, a constant reminder of the warrior under the mask.
