Cleansers are tasked with going into an area after all the undead have been eliminated and destroying all leftover carcasses and entrails. They use a combination of chemicals and or fire to completely cleanse the area. Surprisingly, the chemicals are harmless to the environment, a requirement Cobra Commander insisted on. He proclaimed if people were to flock to Cobra, then they needed to be responsible and offer a location where people could comfortably and safely live in.
